Ha ha!

Seriously, though, I hope not. Our oceans are as much an unexplored realm as outer space -- and there are possibly vast underground oceans on Europa (and maybe Callisto, Ganymede, and Enceladus) worth exploring... And that thought gives me new ideas for some digital art...

Yes, I hope to live long enough to see some sort of exploration of Europa or one of the other moons. I want to see that more than a man setting foot on Mars. That would be nice too, but I'll wager the chances of finding life are far better on a Jovian moon than on that big red rock. If you design some other-planet subs for those explorations, I want to see them. :)

Gets better with each draft! I do hope you have a goal for the "finished" version though. I know how 3D projects can get to that "just one more tweek" phase ;)

I'm thinking about using this in a scene for the Forgotten Galaxy deviantART group's "Moons" contest. That at least gives me a deadline.
